The book is in very good condition. The original owner's name is written on the front free endpaper, above Penn's inscription. The top corners of the book are gently bumped, and one sees some very light creasing to the top page corners. The dust jacket is lightly edgeworn and lightly soiled, with moderate soiling to the spine. The slipcase is in wonderful condition, with just some light soiling and some light rubbing at the rear.
All in all, a beautiful signed copy of this classic photography title by Penn.
