An American Rococo Laminated Rosewood Armchair , mid-19th c., attributed to John Henry Belter, New York, in the pattern known as Rosalie with Grapes, the floral and grape carved crest over S-curved stiles, padded back, serpentine floral carved seat rail, molded cabriole legs with acanthus, feet ending in casters.
Retaining original finish. Measurements are 42 inches tall, 26 inches wide and 28 inches deep. An identical chair can be viewed at Rosalie Mansion in Natchez.
