The Lockwood-Mathews Mansion took four years to build and cost $2 million in 1868. The design for the furniture and woodwork was Herter Brothers. It is magnificent. Here is a book that contains pictures of the ooms in their original settings. The book has a softcover and is 44 pages long. There are more than 60 pictures and illustrations. The books was first printed in 1969 and reprinted in 1981. |
