Stanton Hall Laminated Rosewood Meridienne by J & J. Meeks A very fine mid 19th century Meridienne attributed to J. & J. Meeks, New York City. Measurements are 42" height, 52" width, 23" depth. Finish original. A parlor produced by the firm J. & &. Meeks, the same pattern as the meridienne pictured here, is part of the collection at Stanton Hall House Museum, Natchez, Mississippi.

American Rococo Laminated Rosewood Center table by Meeks An attractive 19th century Rococo turtle marble top center table attributed to the firm J. Meeks, New York City, circa 1850 in pristine condition. Original serpentine white marble top, pierced and scrolled frame supported on finely carved legs, scrolled stretchers centering a nicely carved basket, found in a rich color. Similar examples of this table is pictured in the book "American Furniture of the 19th Century 1840-1880" by R. & E. Dubrow on pages 129 and 130.

The marble is original and original finish.
Measurements are: 45" long x 30" wide x 30" tall.

Museum Quality Rosewood Etagere attr. to Meeks A very nice mid-19th century, attributed to J. & J. Meeks, New York City, circa 1850, in two parts, the hooded cornice surmounted by a floral-carved crest and over an arched mirror plate flanked by side mirrors, fronted by shelves on turned columns, on a serpentine base with open carved apron raised on cabriole legs and joined by a low shelf. Measurements: 106" tall, 58 1/2 wide, 21" deep.
